we love...

hello! we decided that we’re going to post a list of our favorite things each week. it might not end up being every week but we’ll try to make it work.

our favorite blogs:

we found this blog through pinterest, and it’s totally adorable. i mean look at this photo, so cute. they have a little bit of everything so check them out!

this is one of our favorite blogs. the kids are super adorable and because the woman who runs the blog is a photographer, the photos are superb.

clothing:
this week we’ve been loving this top and this jumpsuit, both are from anthropologie. they’re super comfortable and soft, we totally recommend them.
pinterest finds:

top: it is such a pretty picture in how it shows that it is a big world and we just a small dot in the scheme of things. link for this picture is here.
bottom: this picture just made us speechless and amazed. it was taken in new york which is extremely special to both of us {but mostly kate}. kate actually just went there a week ago so she should be posting about that soon. to learn more about this photo click here.

lowercase letters are better

hey guys! we {well, i {kate}} have been feeling like you guys might want to know why we do not use caps in any of our blog posts. so here i come with an essay. {oh great, not again. -cade}

because of the fact that we do not use capitals, we decided to explain the reasoning behind that decision. we don’t use capitals so that we can be slightly different, it symbolizes a lot to us {and it looks cool}. we have seen a few other blogs that don’t use capital letters too, and so it's not just us. it also symbolizes how we do not follow the rules of society {you know the cliche breaking out of boundaries thing}. also it looks cool by looking more simple than most other things. maybe one day we will live in a world without any capitals and cade and i will not have to adjust. {and then we’ll probably go back to using them, because you see, we’re rebels}.

xoxo,
kate

p.s.k. {postscript from kate} sorry for any writing errors and the length. i know it is really short but i was rushing through it.

p.s.c. {postscript from cade} does anyone else have the frustration of the capital “i”. {if so leave a comment, i guarantee we will bond} because it looks exactly like the lower case “l” {they look like this side by side: Il}.

p.p.s.k. {post, post script from kate {i seriously hope you can figure this one out} the italics are cade and the normal is kate.

places

hey guys! after contemplating a lot of other blog post ideas {like a lot of other ideas, this was originally going to be about books} we decided we’re going to write about where we’d like to travel in 10 years {preferably together but also it could be separately} and a little description of why we want to go there. we’ll write a post if we go to any of these places and then check it off the list. enjoy!

  • australia {sydney} - its warm and yeah its warm… {also it’s very beautiful} -both.

  • chile- it seems interesting and warm and its in south america {neither of us have been, so it would be cool to go to a new continent!} -both

  • england {london}- HARRY POTTER WAS SET THERE WHO DOES NOT WANT TO GO?! also they are all british {cade kind of slightly {no, obsessively} loves british EVERYTHING {as does kate just slightly less obsessively} -both.

  • france {paris} city of lights -kate {love -cade}! i’ve been there because i’m french but still… it gets to go on the list. {AND THE FOOD} -cade

  • greece - everything is so beautiful.

  • ireland - i have irish roots -kate.

  • italy {rome, venice} - good food and it is very historical, also the roman gods are from there -both.

  • netherlands {amsterdam} - THE FAULT IN OUR STARS {AHHHHHHHHH} -cade. kate just stares at cade like she is crazy, though she does like amsterdam. :)

  • switzerland - they have good skiing and OMG the sweets -both

  • scotland - it’s so pretty there. who doesn’t want to go? -both

  • usa {alaska} - it seems different from the stereotypical usa state -kate {and there are bears -cade}.

  • usa {hawaii} - THEY HULA DANCE -cade

  • usa {los angeles} - so many famous writers and stars live there. plus it’s warm. -both

  • usa {san francisco} for kate because i already live there and i’m lonely {not really i just want kate to visit} -cade

    xoxo,
    kate and cade
